hey, Does anyone have toe cramps ?

I was recently diagnosed with fibro and I have so many questions about this disease. So far I am on cymbalta, ultram, elavil and( loritabs when i need them). Now I am experiencing toe cramps every time I try to stretch my feet and also every time I stretch any part of my body, I get muscle spasms. Is this normal for fibro?

Oh yes cramping has been my greatest pain. I am a former athlete and have wondered if this is part of the cause. My toes would almost fold under with pain until I started the mg/malic acid regime. There is a good thread on this.

I also find, for me, I pinch the skin between my lips and nose right in the fold. It is amazing. Also you may not know that putting a piece of silverware near the cramp eases it greatly. Oh, it doesn't have to be sterling, stainless works as well.

Someone wrote a post yesterday saying we have to be careful about quacks trying to sell us products to cure fibro. This is so important to keep in mine. BUT we can do natural things to try to ease the symptoms. That is very important for us.

I dont have anyone else to ask.There is 1 guy who goes to our church who has it real bad, but he doesn't come much , because of the fibro, so I am not able to ask him. I hate toe cramps, sometimes I feel like the wicked witch of the east when the house lands on her and her toes curl up , then her feet.. I don't have any munchins singing around me, so I guess they are still in tack.

Yes. And it really is starting to be a headache if you know what I mean.. actually were at the age now that we can laugh about it, but it can be frustrating.  my sweet husband has learned to massage my legs so they are less likely to cramp.  I have such a wonderful husband.....

Just wanted to add - I too get severe toe cramps at times. I found that sometimes certain shoes seem to cause them to happen more. Driving too much bothers me to.
