He came into the world at 1:30 yesterday afternoon at 7lbs 11ozs and 19 inches long. He is beautiful!!! GD had a very quick and easy delivery.

I'm wiped out today. Being a great grandma is hard work.

MARLEE, How exciting. I am so glad he waited around for a bit, glad to here everyone is healthy...I just went to visit my girlfiends new grandson he is 1month and I did not want to put him down I could have held him for hours...

congrats!!! that is wonderful news... don't I remember your gd had signs of early delivery? seems like everything ended up ok. wonderful news :) I hope you enjoy having a newborn around. I have baby fever so bad, my baby just turned 2 a couple weeks ago... how time flies!

Thanks everyone, I haven't had much time for the forum the past few days. Yes, he has a name now, Shayne Michael. Shayne is a derivative of my son's, his grandpa, middle name and Michael is for his uncle that was killed in Iraq almost two years ago and for his other grandpa.

They will be leaving the hos today. I will be glad when all these other people go home so I will have more time with him. I'm giving grandpa and grandma time with him cause they have to go back to NC Sunday morning.
