Hello Chutzie, Sherrine, Patsie, Vickie, Pattie.
Thank you so very very much for the warm welcome you have all given me, I feel mentally much better already. I would love to know more about you all, how you all manage from day to day? what meds you take? whether they are effective?. I do stretching exercises, use the spinal pool under the supervision of Victoria, she is a personal trainer. I take Oxycontin (morphine) Baclofen, Tramedol, Volterol suppositories, Cyclomorph (injected morphin) Diconel, Cipralex, Diclofenic, diazepam and Imigran pens, not all at once but a mixture of what i need depending on the day.
I have had FMS for Seven years but only diagnosed for Three, luckily! i collapsed at work, I was a comminity care nurse, I was unable to tell the med team who I was or what i had been doing, very frightening, however, Two weeks later I was diagnosed and was at last being taken seriously, I was sent to a specialist, I had all of the trigger points, as well as severe migraine, a broken coxycs and sacrum, Two prolapsed discs and a variety of other things.
I am recently divorced, I have Three wonderful kids, Sebastian 25, Victoria 23 and kane 18, we had Two beautiful horses but had to find them happy homes as I simply wasn't able to exercise them as I should, especially as one of them was a very talented showjumper,'what fun we had together!!!! I miss him so very much, I miss my very busy old life very much, i would be ecstatic if they found a cure as i imagine you all would be as well.
Gentle hugs and well wishes to you all xxxx.
