Hi All!!

Welp, today's the day!!  I go back to work after having 6 months off. 

I'm not in the least bit worried about my work capabilities but I am about my health and my ability to make it through a full time job. 

Please keep me in your thoughts and if you can muster up a little energy to send my way I'd really appreciate it!!!

Well well, wishing you well. You'll do fine. I am sure nobody is going to ask you to rearrange the office furniture on your first day back, maybe tomorrow, lol. So, one minute at a time. Oh yeah, my favorite office startegy, when asked to do something, "let me get back to you on that".

It is work that is lucky to have you back. Take it easy on them!!!

So glad you will be able to write us b/c we are kinda fond of you. Let us know what is happening.

Disney went well for me because I spent a lot of time reading and alone. The kids were as bad as usual but I simply ignored them. We stayed at the new Kidaini (sp) resort, first people in the condo. Just loved the animals and our room was right on the savannah. I just "talked" to the animals and did a lot of walking. No theme parks for me I just said "NO".

Would love to send some energy your way but I used every last ounce over the weekend watching my GD's! Then I forgot that you were starting back to work today or I would have bottled up a 3 yr. old and an 11 mos. olds energy and sent that your way-  that would have got you through months!

Excited for you and wish you the best- it is going to take you a little while to get back into the swing of things, so be gentle on yourself! :-)

Sending you all my energy today, dear Patti. You have such a wonderful spirit. I am certain you will do fine! Remember that not only physical things, but things like stress and anxiety can zap the energy out of us, so remember to BREATHE. Take a minute, just a minute, every once in a while to breathe deeply, calm yourself. You WILL feel better!! I'm so excited for you...please tell us how you did.
Now I'm off to work...well, not exactly off...sitting in the same chair, but have to type doctor/patient stuff.

Good luck Patti!!! Remember to get up and move around and stretch when you can and if you can find a place to relax and put your feet up during breaks do so.

Good luck Patti.  Sending warm thoughts and great big cyber (((hugs))) your way.  If you can, run through a drive-thru tonight for dinner, so when you get home, you can just "chill".  smilewinkgrin

I hope your day went well, Patti, and that you are feeling proud of yourself.  wink Working full time is certainly possible and I applaud you for giving it a try.  I find that the necessary task of focusing on work actually helps me manage my pain.

Take care and get some restful sleep tonight.

Thanks everyone.. you are all so sweet and I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your good wishes and energenic thoughts!!!

Well, sorry it took me so long to reply.  There's been a lot going on.  I got a brand new computer the first day back, that took up most of the day.  Then the phones went haywire today.  But the good thing was I didn't have to answer the phones all day, but didn't have internet all day either. 

So far so good, but today is hump day and I'm pretty wiped out.  I can't wait for the weekend.  I keep telling myself it WILL get easier in the next few weeks.  I just wish I didn't have to commute for an hour a day.  But it's a pretty ride so I try to do a little bird watching along the way.

Again.. thanks so much for all your good vibes.

New computer, I'm jealous.....So you'll be spending most of your day sitting at the computer? I do.

So no traffic on your commute? Lucky.
