I can finally say it out loud and not worry about jinxing myself. When I was at the lowest of lows with fibro - last fall - I really thought my life was over. As in - all the hopes and dreams (career-wise) that I had for myself just gone down the toilet. I prayed DILIGENTLY for just one thing - please, please God give me back my ENERGY. I didn't care about the pain anymore. Well, the two are obviously related because once I got the pain under control with the right drugs the energy returned. Feb. 12th I had major surgery and took 2 months to recover from that but since April 12th when I went back to work I have FINALLY got my energy back.
The last 2 weeks I've worked full-time for the first time in nearly 2 years. And it was GREAT! And I felt GREAT!
One day last week I went out and forgot to take my Tramadol in the morning. BIG MISTAKE. So I am not "cured" but the pain is managed well and thus the fatigue is gone.
I love it ~ I'm so happy.
This site has been a great source of both information and comraderie during the darkest times. I plan to keep coming here, although my time is more limited now.
