Help me remember the name of this med...........

Hi all,
A year or 2 ago I believe someone here told me about a muscle relaxer that doesn't have as much drowsiness as some of the others. Can anyone help me remember the name of that?

I'm not sure what was posted 2 years ago, I am taking methocarbamol 750mg and it does not make me drowsy.

I know I posted about Robaxin.  I took that for severe back spasms.  The first dose always put me right to sleep so I would use the bathroom and get comfy because I would sleep for several hours.  But, after that first dose,  I had no problems at all.  No drowsiness whatsoever.  I'm stubborn about taking medications because I am usually affected by the side affects but I found this drug to work great for me.

No, those don't familiar..........but its good to know about the Robaxin (methocarbamol). then again......maybe it was Robaxin. My memory is absolutely shot to heck these days, so it might have been that! haha

Is it Skelaxin? I have taken that and since it doesn't work through the central nervous system you don't get the drowsiness, etc. It works really well. I am on Soma now and it makes me sleepy.

YES!! Its Skelaxin. (at least i think it is!).
Nanakaki, may I ask why you changed? Did it quit working for you?
Have those of you on Robaxin every been on Skelaxin?
I am sooooo sensitive to meds. If it has the potential to make a person drowsy, it will absolutely put me in a coma.
Hopefully whatever I get, its in tablet form so I can break it in half to start.
