Hi guys.  For the past couple days my hands and feet feel like they have no circulation.  Like I slept on them all night and they won't wake up.  It is very annoying.  Does anyone else get this?

My hands and feet will also go asleep suddenly. It is really inconvenient. Sometimes I'll be holding something (coffee mugs, dishes, pen, etc.) and I will drop it and then hand will go asleep. Or if I sit too long.

My left hand goes numb to the point I have burned my hand because of it. At times I can't tie my shoe or hold anything. It goes from better to worse within a day.

My hands and feet are numb 90% of the time, I drop a lot of things and can only wear certain shoes and some days, bruises appear on my palms for no reason. *shrug* My dr says the numbness and tingling is part of fibro, my grandmother has the same thing, but hers is worse and called Perepheral Neuropathy and that's prolly spelled wrong, but my brain is taking a break. I'd say definetely talk to your dr, to make sure it's just the fibro.

Hi Anne-

I'm the queen of hands and feet going numb! I never had it before the fibro and now I get it if I stand for any length of time or use my hands for any length of time. Some days are worse than others. The only thing that works for me when my feet go numb is to get off them and rest them, and the feeling returns. Also, will stop doing things with my hands and give them periods of rest and the feeling will return. Yes, let your Dr. know about it.

If your Dr. feels it is fibro- it is annoying, but is just symptoms.

For some reason only my right foot feels like it's asleep.  I had double knee replacement two years ago and since then have trouble with my right foot going to sleep on me.  I thought maybe it was from the surgery and it would probably get better with time.  WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Also I have trouble with my right hand.  I have osteoarthritis and maybe use a mouse too much, but it doesn't fall asleep, it just aches all the time.

 

I don't know how much is Fibro and how much is Arthritis, but they both are annoying.

 

I have heard a lot of different people on here complaining about feet and hands falling asleep so it probably is due to Fibro.
