Excessive perspiration about
the face. Embarrassing.
Anybody know where I might find some plain white, washable cotton ladies handkerchiefs?

I have no idea. I just carry a hand towel with me.

Our local pharmacy has ladies handkies. Also, try the mens' department of any store like WalMart for a good price and something larger. Another thought...I have purchased plain white kitchen towels, the kind they call 'feed sack' towels. Just plain white material. Those could be cut into several and if you have a sewing machine you could hem the edges, or a surger would be better yet. I also own many handkies handed down from both of my grandmothers.
Hope one of these helps cause I have the same problem and most often use a tissue which is never enough. But I'm raiding my hubbies handkerchiefs in the morning...lol
Thanks for helping me think of this!

LOL yeah I'm tired of having tissue lint all over my face. Gotta come up with something. Thanks for the ideas.

Hey Donna -- I got fed up with tissue lint, too, and switched to paper towels. I use Viva all the time -- they're really soft. But, lately, I've been using baby wipes (which we use for everything). They are soothing, help you cool off, and they dry quickly so they are refreshing. (Use Huggies unscented....) I also have bought a few men's hankies, 'cause I sweat something terrible and always feel safer with lots of backups! LOL

I used to never have a problem with sweating even in the hot humid south. NOW, it is the complete opposite. I literally drip all over. My clothes start looking like I have been running a marathon or working out in the yard. I literally hate it! My stomach and sides have water dripping at times.
I know that sweating is supposed to be good for you, but I do not know if this is age (50) related or all the meds I now take for hormones and fibro.
