I posted last week about
a female problem I have been dealing with and pulled it because it was just an hysterical rant about
how I was treated in Urgent Care. Anyway, the swab test results revealed no yeast, bacteria or the other twelve things they tested for that I never heard of. The urine sample showed a small 'trace of blood' which was too miniscule to test and something that begins with an 'L'. I have been on a full course of Monistat and now an antibiotic for a UTI. So far, nothing has relieved the itching, burning stinging. So. After calling a gazillion gyno's, none would see me without a referral and my Rhuemy is out of town until next week. I bit the bullet and finally called a friend who is a gyno, and he is the one who put me on the antibiotic and I am seeing him tomorrow. I have not been to a gyno in 12 years...had a complete hysterectomy inlcuding ovaries 40 years ago.
I printed out a list of fibro symptoms that includes vulvodynia to show him. I don't know if he believes in Fibro, but I am anxious to just get to the bottom of this and present him with the obvious and not be put through anymore tests...no health insurance. Is there anything else I should mention, when it comes to fibro? I get so flustered when I'm in the office, I want to make sure I tell him everything. This is very embarrasing for me as I see this guy at least twice a week in socical settings, but I am desperate.
Someone told me anxiety can cause these symptoms and I'm thinking with the loss of Vesta and slamming my finger in a steel door and breaking it, might have put me over the edge??? It's called 'Hysterical' something or another. Can't even remember the name of it.
Anything else I should mention?? Believe me, this is going to be a one time event! I'm wearing a mask!
