sorry for being so emo, but I am just so dadgum frustrated!

Everything is an endless cycle. You have to be cleared to live in Japan before you can have these jobs I'm looking at ... you have to have a job to get cleared to live in Japan.

I just don't understand life these days.
What is the point of sticking with a job for 4 years if you're not going to get anything useful out of it?
What is the point of going to college if you aren't going to use your degree?
Where is this "good job" they promised me?????

:) it's good to know I'm not the only one out there who feels like this.

I keep feeling like everything I have tried to do since high school has just been a waste of time.

At least I have a great hubby ... even if he keeps telling me "everything will be OK" ... I want it to be ok now dadgummit!

'Emo rant'. May i thankyou for the belly laugh i got from that? im a high school teacher and all the emo teens i teach take themselves so seriously, like no generation before them ever suffered being misunderstood. what would i know? im soooo old apparently-according to my students. Im 29. Sheesh.

I knew everything at the age of 18...I was totally brilliant...I lost all that with age. Now at 59 I know nothing and am not too proud to say it..

Hi WCC, you never know. I am 44 and can see now how many of the "unrelated" things in my life have worked together to help me and lead me to what I am doing now. It may not seem like it, but everything you learn you can use somewhere.

Why do you want to move to japan and work there?

Emo....teenagers! Yikes, I got one at home! Silly dyed black hair and skinny leg pants.

But seriously W.Choc.Chip I think it is cool that you are in another country wanting to live there and able to work there. What will you be doing for work? I agree with Sue that every thing we learn we apply it to life in some way. I may not have a degree or real good book smarts but I know for a fact my boss loves my street smarts. Know what I mean.

Right now I am looking at getting a job at a Recreation Center or maybe being a hotel receptionist :)

I want to stay in Japan to be with my husband!
