Sherrine, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your daughter. Thank God, it wasn't worse than it was. She is safe and she is healing, she will be ok. Take a deep breath, and then another. I think we always feel it worse when something happens to our children.
My sister has a dog that is 1/2 Pit and 1/2 ???. She had no idea it was a Pit when her ex brought it home. He told her Lab. I went over the 1st time to see the dog and told her what it was, she thought I was wrong. NOT! The 2nd time I went over I brought some dog cookies for him. He has been my best buddy since then, he knows who 'Aunt Alice' is and lays all over me. BUT I will not enter that house if my sister isn't home. My trust of that dog only goes so far. Not to single out Pits, I am not comfortable going up to strange dogs or dogs out in their yrs. They are too unpredictable. My dogs have always been mushes in my house, outside they are 'on guard'. I always warn ppl about that attitude.
Of course, your DD will be in my prayers and you also, my friend. She will be alright, we are all praying for her (and her mother) and God is watching her. Have a cup of your cinnamon tea and try to calm down. We want you both healthy.
God bless. Alice.
