well i did it didn't think i would be able to but i did 7 bushels of roma tomatoes with the in-laws on sunday
the cutting, boiling, pressing and bottling, then boiling again.. i did it...tired as all heck but i managed pretty well considering there 4 of us and only about
a million of those darn tomatoes..
if i ever see another tomato before next year it will be all too soon unless i am enjoying some of sauce

You GO Girl!! I am soooooo proud of you. <applause~applause> I know it's hard because I am a canner also but these days I try to do small amounts and not quite the variety I used to do. But for hubby and me...ok, and I do some jam for the kids but no way could I do 7 bushels of tomatoes. You are awesome!
Now....rest those tired muscles. You deserve it! Gentlest of hugs to you~~

I'm impressed--only because I know how hard this is. I use to do canning. I even use to can small potatoes. Jeez-you had to peel those suckers. Enjoy those "matoes" when you use them!

The hubby grew about
thirty tomato plants this year. When he asked me if I wanted to can them I laughed so hard I peed my pants a little. I am so proud of you!

Oh, I remember those days of canning, Carnissa....I think!
That is WELL in my past. But, I'm really proud of you for rolling up those sleeves and digging in! You will really enjoy the sauces this winter.
