I actually don't have a cat right now so I guess that just makes me a CrazyOldLady! smilewinkgrin


I do need to get a new kitty soon. I hate being without one. We lost Toby last month. We thought it would be a good idea to do without the expense of having a pet for a while, but i don't know how much longer I can stand it!!

Sorry to hear about your cat.  Pets can be very expensive.  I know!!!!  I have a cat and a very sick dog right now.

In time I'm sure you will make the best decision .

Because men are more likely to be grumpy and ladies are more compassionate.
Case in point:
My mom's friend is an absolute sweetheart. Her hobby is rescuing kittens from the local dumpsters. She has at least 20 cats. These 20 cats have their own section of the house. it's kittyheaven there. These cats have a screened in porch and an airconditioned room with lots of thigns to scratch and shelves to climb on.

I Know a crazy old cat man in his divorce they fought over the cat like an heir to a kingdom. Wonderful man to i must say. But in japan the cat (it's that idol you see when you go out for chinese) is a sign for welcoming guests to your home or business. So as a child i remember a few cat men. Maybe i'll have to fly back and look for a date that would be a man after my own heart =)

I LOVE cats, especially boy cats. They seem to gravitate toward me. My two latest cats chose me, and made me really fully understand how we don't choose the cat - the cat chooses us! I have one cat now, and two dogs. As much as I love, love, love my dogs, I am still more a cat person. They are beautiful, smart, independent, funny and so loving. My Mom was never a cat person, until one chose her and showed up at the door one day. He lived to be 26. My Mom lived with me while she had dementia, and loved cats so much that she would always invite the neighborhood cats in, thinking they were ours. I remember coming home from work not once but several times to find "stranger" cats sleeping on my bed, and our cats looking on, disgusted!
