Welcome back! I know I go crazy when my computer isn't working correctly. Actually, that's why I never posted on your other thread...my modem bit the dust!
I set aside about 8 1/2 hours for sleep a night. I know this may sound crazy, but I have found that if I sleep too much, I need even more sleep. I've been that way since a child. It could just be me. But, I do have a sleep schedule and go to bed around the same time every night and get up around the same time every morning. The body becomes accustomed to that and then, when you lie down, you can get to sleep usually. Also, don't use your bed to eat, read, etc. Also, avoid caffeine after around 5 PM. That will keep you from sleeping, too.
