Never EVER run out of carpet cleaner and use Woolite in your carpet machine!! Do you have any idea how many feet of suds that makes??? It totally clogged the cleaner so bad I was afraid I would never be able to suck up the suds! shocked Finally with some water with a touch of white vinegar added, hubby and I...more hubby than I...spent about an hour rinsing a spot on the carpet no bigger than 1' X 5'.

btw, the CloroxII color enhancer isn't much better...sheesh shakehead

never ever. nono start watering your garden during your 15 min break with work ( I work from home ) and really think you will remember to shut it off.... shakehead four hours later when Dear Hubby comes home from work ... he shuts it off for you.. mind you by that time the whole neighbor hood has been watered. smilewinkgrin how many times must I do this before I learn.. ???

Never ever start draining some water off your pool without setting a timer.  Not only will you end up having to refill your pool, but your neighbor won't speak to you because you flooded his yard.

But Sherrine!! You didn't "flood" their yard, you watered it. You should send THEM a bill for the water you gave them.

Likewise Spirit... you were so kind as to water the entire neighborhood. I'm thinking you are up for citizen of the year award!

OK, I know you're not buying this one either...anyone else have a "Never EVER ____" story?

NEVER EVER forget you put something in the oven and go to bed.... Neighbor down the hall did that . thank god hubby came home for lunch and saw the smoke from the window and called the landlord


Never ever forget to take the plastic wrap off a candle before burning it.. ppl 2 floors under us did that within a week of the other guy.

god i can't wait to get out of here

I should never ever sit down for dinner without first double checking the oven and mostly the microwave for the leftovers I was warming to add to the meal.  I forget stuff all of the time.  I find stuff when I go to warm up my cup of coffee in the micro the next morning.

Push the button for the garage door that you are NOT in, don't bother to check the rear view mirror and slam the vehicle into reverse.  Hubby's hate it when that happens.

  never ever back your truck into a ditch to try and load a riding lawn mower .tail gate still not low enough.get some boards they keep sliding and finally brake.someone comes along lifts the back of the mower tires and pushs it on to the tail gate and towards the front of the truck thank you thank you thank you.ivr got it made now (think again).lots of rain everything soft.weight of truck plus weight of mower trucks not going any where.someone else comes along in truck with a chain and pulls my truck out of ditch thank you thank you thank you

Never ever leave your favorite black T-shirt outside to dry in the sun for two weeks. It's sunbleached, the front half is a lighter shade of brown and the back is still black.

Never ever let your husband put the dishes in and start the dishwasher without making 100% sure he knows which soap to put in. Regular dish soap will have you wading through piles of suds!

I didn't do this one but I was involved ... never ever put a frozen pizza in the oven and then fall asleep on the common area couch. Your neighbors, myself included, did not appreciate having to vacate the building in the middle of the night.

Yumm-O...lol I did find out that you CAN cook a frozen pizza on the cardboard circle they tell you to remove and it makes a nice, softer crust! ;-) They don't know what they are talking about. But it does tell you something when the crust and the cardboard felt the same to my hands. <shudder> I don't eat them...the kids and hubby do.

This particular frozen pizza cooker was also drunk ... that is why he passed out on the common area couch, instead of remaining awake to supervise his pizza.

Never Ever clean a horses hooves right under his tail or you could have a nice surprise. Yep, just had that happen. Last week our horse pooped on my head. And the thing is I knew that I was just out of it.

Oh Baloo I would have been gagging.

 

Never ever take your dogs for a walk where there could be dead animals, they like to roll in them. Thank goodness DH was home and put Tiquey in the shower to give her a bath cause all I could do was gag. He even said it was bad.

Oh man........I almost laughed my coffee onto my computer.  I need to read this board more often.  You people are hilarious!  Donna!  I laughed so hard at yours!  You have such a way with words.  Seriously, I would pay you to come to my birthday party and do a stand up routine..........subject; your choice.

Never ever rub your eyes even hours later after cutting up those hot peppers you worked so hard to grow from seeds.  They sure tasted good in those fajitas!  I ate them with one very red eye.

Never put your Full size Chevy pickup into Neutral and turn it on and then walkaway from it...esp when you have a VERY STEEP driveway.......it could roll down the street into the neighbors yard , nearly hitting 3 children and crashing into a car and the freezer and the wall of the garage...... smhair

this happend to me, but the Chevy pickup was my neighbors....it turned out to be a blessing to me, I got a new (1992, new to me) van , a new freezer and my wall fixed..... smilewinkgrin

Never ever give your car keys to a 3-year-old and assume everything will remain ok. Three-year-olds can figure out how to turn on a car and get it into gear and back across the street with the door open. My husband did this, but it was before you had to have your foot on the brake in order to shift gears.
