14 year old daughter homeschooling

Well she is homeschooling now, it's going well.  She is still having lots of stomach problems that are undiagnosed!  We'll see how it goes.  She is totally off the cymbalta.  Thank the Lord!  

I'm so glad that the homeschooling is going well.  It's a lot of hard work but I'm sure it will pay off in the end.  I hope you get to the bottom of her stomach problems.  That can be pretty miserable.  Let us know how she is doing or if you find out what the problem is.  We really do care.

Thanks everyone. Recently it has come to my attention that she has been having thoughts of harming herself. She said it's not that she really wants to die but that she hates herself. She now is in counseling. Besides being in pain all the time, she takes on a lot of stress from others, friends, even me. If she thinks I'm having a hard time because of her health she will just feel horrrible about it, so I have got to try to keep smiling even when I don't feel like it, for her. Part of it may be her age, but I've heard that FM goes hand in hand w/ depression. We are at another cross roads as far as doctoring goes, the last doc in Aug was a neurologist who did all his tests & that was it, no further calls, nothing. I may be taking her to a naturepathic doc in another town & also a reumatologist (SP), for her stomach.
Thank God we can homeschool! The physical stress of the public school schedule was more than her body could handle, not even counting all the other stuff that comes along with school. She is only 14 & we can take all the time we need to make sure she gets everything she needs in life to succeed.
