OK, I'll stop singing. smhair But let me ask you...do you sing where people can hear you? Or are you a "closet" singer? I mean do you sing along with the tunes on the radio when you are driving alone or will you karaoke in your car no matter who can hear you?

I used to love to sing but still I never sang when anyone could hear me. These days I'm never sure if I'm going to be able to hit any notes at all, let alone the one that's anywhere near on tune...lol tongue So I may hum or sing very quietly to myself while working around the house, especially if no one is here. But where I'm best at singing is when my audience is about 3 and under. smilewinkgrin I always sang to my babies from the minute they were born and rarely was the song something you would know. I would make up silly songs and tunes and they were ever so impressed...lol I still am singing to babies and keeping them entertained. Over the weekend we took care of the youngest grandson, Jaksyn who is 3 months old, and he was introduced to Grandma's songs. He must have thought I was Beverly Sills! Come to think of it...he WAS giggling..no wait, it must have been gas.

Anyway, where to do you do your singing? With an audience or alone and hopefully out of range of others who may hear. shocked

I love to sing in Karaoke! But dont do that anymore.

I love to sing. I sing mostly in the car, but I do Karaoke sometimes. I'm not very good, but It makes me happy, so I keep on assulting people with my vocals.

Love love love to sing. My family loves for me to sing. My mother had a beautiful voice and I always remember her singing. It's a big part of my life. The new pup hasn't put his paws over his ears so guess I can still carry a tune LOL.

OMG love to sing any chance I get.  Of course ask my sister she will say Rhonda thinks she sounds like madonna NOT  and my hubby is always saying you can't sing

But I do not let that deter me I still sing my little heart out because it makes me feel good.

If we ever go to a karaokee you betcha I am up singing as often as they will let me. After hearing me once may not be that often unless I tip them! :0)

Well...the hubby earned his way through college singing and playing guitar in coffee houses in The Village...way back when.  You know...the 60's.  He still plays.  He has a song called 'Picture' I think by Sheryl Crowe and Kid Rock, that he had to sing with a friend who plays the lounge at a local casino here.  So....he puts on the sound track and asked me to sing Sheryl Crowe's part.  Holy Moly.  I didn't think I was that bad.  He tried not to laugh.  I am HORRIBLE.  If I sing outloud it's by sheer mistake.  Because of my Meniere's Disease, I'm very deaf but I can still  hear myself and I know I am NOT GOOD.  I'm not kidding...when I started to sing our dog Dylan got up off his bed and went into the living room.  Hmmm.

I do both. I sing when I am alone...which is when I really jam it out. And I sing around others, which is when I am more subdued about it. I just love to sing. If I am in a store and they are playing a song that I love, I just can't resist singing along, no matter who hears me.

I play a baritone uke and sing with that and it makes the stress go away.  I also have a karaoke machine and I'm having 12 people for dinner for Thanksgiving.  I've already told them to warm up those vocal chords!  LOL  It should be a good time for all....and a lot of laughs!

I love to sing with my hubby in the car. Our neighborhood parties sometimes includes
karaoke and we sure have fun singing alone or as a group. I love to call people on their
birthday and sing Happy Birthday. I love singing nursery ryhme songs to my grandaughter.
I sing when I alone and when ever the mood strikes me. It feels good to sing!

I love music and I love to sing. My DH says I sound good, but I think he's being kind. My brother asked me yrs ago NOT to sing around him, it hurt his ears. I always wished I had a good singing voice, my father had a beautiful voice. I can still hear his voice in my head sometimes. I will sing while I'm in the kitchen, the shower, the car. I would sing and dance w/ my babies and they loved it. I was just talking to my son about when he was a few months old, I would hold him and sing and dance w/ him and he would just giggle so hard. He loved to 'dance' to NY, NY by F. Sinatra when it was new and so was he.

My precious puppy thinks I sound wonderful when I sing to him, so for him, I'll do it. wink

Donna, I like that song 'Picture', my DD laughs each time it comes on, just finds it hard to believe 'Mom' likes Kid Rock. Ah, youth is wasted on the young!

As is said, 'Sing as if no one is listening!' If it gladens your heart, do it, you're not hurting anyone.
