Have you ever followed the rainbow? Have you seen a part of one and kept hunting for the other end? Did you drive to get a better view or take a picture? Did you find the end??

I love rainbows! We saw one 2 weeks ago and only for see and got a picture of 1/2 of it, but that was fine. I've chased a few and almost found the end but I did find one rainbow I was looking for...my sweet hubby. smilewinkgrin

How about anyone else? Like rainbows? Ever chase any??

Love rainbows Chutz.

When I was a kid I was big into fairy tales even up til I was 10 -11 years old.  I was always reading about the lepracahns (SP)  and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!  Can't say I every really followed a rainbow  to see but I definitly thought about it.

I was told as a child that a rainbow is a bridge between Heaven and Earth. When I see

a rainbow now, I see it's beauty and think of a heavenly connection and of loved ones

who have passed.

I love rainbows, too, and have seen double rainbows several times since I moved to Florida.  I don't chase them.  I know there is a pot of gold at the end of them so I'm hoping that some day the end will be in my back yard!  wink

about ten years ago I was driving north from Anchorage and came into this beautiful area of the highway known as the Hay Flats. It was raining, but then the sun came out, creating a gorgeous rainbow. Suddenly the end of the rainbow appeared - directly on the highway. It was as wide as the road, and I drove right through it. The light was perfect gold. Still gives me chills to this day thinking about it.

That must be how the story of the pot of gold started!  That's sooo cool!  Thanks for letting us know about that.
