Hi, MPCutie! You didn't say whether or not any blood work or testing had been done. I sure hope it has. Fibromyalgia's symptoms are very much like many other illnesses. The tender point test is only one of the tests and you are usually diagnosed once the other tests come back negative.

I'm very tender, too. My kids, when teenagers, would playfully swat my arm and I would yell out in pain and I thought for sure I would have a bruise the next day but that never happened.
