I hope no one minds if I post a Koffee Klatch while Chutz is away. Here goes:

If money and health were no object, where would you go for a vacation. Be specific.

I have never been anywhere tropical before, so I would love to take a trip to Club Med in the Maldives on the Indian Ocean. I would enjoy two weeks of all inclusive pampering including daily massages at the spa, sailing, beach-combing, rest and relaxation.

What about you?

I love going to Negril, Jamaica, it's beautiful and laid back. Seven miles of white sand

beaches, reggae music, lobster and pinacoladas is my kind of place to really relax!

If I'm looking for cultural exploration it would be Paris "the city of lights." I enjoyed my

visit there 20 years ago. Great food and wine!

Years ago, back packing and rugged survival camping eating granola and sunflower

seeds was my ideal vacation. I enjoyed adventure in many of the US national or state parks.

I've done a lot of traveling and have gone to many all-inclusives.  Robin, I've been to Negril four times and that's where I parasailed!  Talk about gorgeous!

 

But, if I could, I'd love to back to Italy.  I took a two week tour of Italy that started with four days in Rome then headed to Sorrento and Pompeii, then spent a day on the Isle of Capri.  Then we headed to Florence and on to Pisa.  Spent four more days in Venice and flew back home out of Milan.  Oh, we did spend a day in Switzerland on that trip!

 

It was amazing to stand in the Coliseum, drive down the aquaduct, go through the catacombs, walk the streets of Pompeii, see "David" and The Last Supper (That is painted on a wall...not on a canvas!), have pictures taken of me by the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and of course the gondola ride under the Bridge of Sighs.  If you love history, this would be the trip for you and, if I ever get another chance, I'll definitely go back there.

I would go to Australia.

Don't know much about traveling, never been. But if I had a chance, I think Australia would be the place for me.

I would like to go back to Savannah, Georgia. I have never been to such a haunted place in my life. I heard German words
and later found out what they meant and that there was a German encampment there in the Civil War. I seen and heard so
many spirits it was amazing. Gettysburg would be another as I've heard there is a lot of activity there, too.

My husband has always wanted to go to Hawaii and it's warm and has beaches so that would work for me. I always feel so much better after laying on the warm sand for a few hours so that's where I would spend most of my time :) I myself have always wanted to go to Australia so if money was no object I guess we would do both lol

There are so many places I would love to go, it is hard to pick just one! So I'll pick my top one first, and list the other's afterwards in order of preference.

I would love to go to Figi and stay in one of those glass bottomed huts that sit on stilts over the water. To walk along pristine white sand beaches with my husband, or just sit on a beach, reading a book, knowing that instead of seeing a basket of laundry when I look up, I will be looking at beautiful ocean scene. I would love to sit with my husband at a table for two on the beach at night, with tiki torches all around us, listening to the gentle lap of the waves.


I would also love to go to Hawaii. And I have always wanted to travel to Italy. And Greece. And Australia/New Zealand. I'd love to go back to the Caribbean as well, but would love to go somewhere I've never been first. My list is long!

Amsterdam for the coffee houses is my #1 choice, but I'd also love to visit most of Europe and Asia.

I would like to go to Hawaii and lie on the beach and maybe try some surfing. I have always wanted to try it. Also, I would like to look into some of my roots and go to Ireland. Most of my family is German, but I have a relative or two who are Scot-Irish. For some reason I really relate to the Irish part of myself more than the German. So, I would like to go to Ireland. I hear it is really beautiful there. Those are the two places I would really like to go to.

We're planning a trip back to Hawaii, which I love. But I also would like to see Australia and I've always wanted to go to Israel and Egypt and see the pyramids. Diane
