I noticed you asked this question in a couple of different threads so thought I would put it out there where everyone can see it. I have not taken it myself.

I noticed some of u are on Savella. Dr just have me a starter pack. I'm so tired of taking antidepressants - just weaned off Lexapro. How well is the Savella working for all of you? Had a rough time sleeping last night - RLS.

rolleyes blush cool coach's wife, i forgot to mention the pm dr. put me on 10 mg. ambien. i'm not going to him any longer so i am going to ask my new dr. about lunesta. can anyone tell me if it works well w/o side effects? thanks. Donna turn tongue smurf eyes

smilewinkgrin shocked rolleyes hi coach's wife, i don't know what happened to my 1st post. anyway talking about savella. i took lyrica 5 1/2 mo. 4x daily with minimual relief. i've been on savella and i can see SO MUCH improvement. i still have burning pain and skin tenderness but it's NOTHING like before. i had dr. to write rx for 100 mg instead of 50 mg(cost is same and i'm self pay) anyway i break the tab in half and cut my cost in half. i take it 2x day. i hope this helps. anything else just post it. take care. hope the savella works! savella did not work for me. GOt so sick ended up in the ER. I am glad it helps others,

Marlee2, you are such a sweetheart for posting this for me. Imagine my surprise when I logged on and saw this post. You seem like the nicest person. Thanks again. We are closing on our house in a week or so. Maybe then I can use my laptop instead of my phone to post. Say a prayer that we live here a while - moving is very hard for me. College football is a different life. Must learn to be a very independent woman. Glad I have you guys.

I've tried both Lunesta and Ambien. PM doc has tried me on both. I noticed it took longer for the Lunesta to work than Ambien. One of the nurses told me to try plain Ambien instead of Ambien CR. Works well for me and is faster. Do not take it until you are in bed. Sometimes if you take it too early, your body seems to adjust or whatever and it doesn't work as well. Hope this helps.

Your welcome Poor Coaches Wife, smilewinkgrin . I have a friend that is a high school coaches wife and the best dog groomer I've ever seen but of course their lives revolve around his schedule so I gave up on her as a groomer with his job and three small children.

Thanks. You're right - not very good at moving around and learning the ropes. I will catch on. Thanks for taking me under your wing. This is my first forum or anything I've joined online. Told my husband that this seems like a really nice one. Thanks again for being a friend.

For awhile when I first joined I kept hitting something and was sending half finished post and never did figure out what I was doing wrong but stopped it whatever it was.smilewinkgrin

I'm 48 and am empty nester. Husband is gone alot so I basically live alone too. I know what its like to feel lonely. Other than this site (which is wonderful) if you do not have a little dog, I suggest you get one. Lucy (rat terrior) has been a lifesaver. My husband has even fallen in love with her. Rat terriors are very smart dogs and have a sense of humor. Can you tell how much I adore her? Hope you have a great day.

turn tongue yeah hi college coach's wife! i do have a little baby girl--my little maltese Laci, she'll be 14 tomorrow! gotta buy her a treat..she is so spoiled but i never had a daughter. i am 62 and my sons are 37 and 35. i have a beautiful grand daughter, Willow, that is 17 mo. my sons live in the dallas/fort worth area-it's about 3 hrs. from here. i live in a small east texas town. where do you live. can you feel any pain relief yet? i definitely can-with the savella i am still having pain but it's not nearly as severe as before when i took lyrica. what all meds are you on? hope to hear from you. It really is a small world. We just moved from northeast Texas to southwest Louisiana. Isn't the weather in these parts lovely for fibromites? Ha! I have 2 boys (23 and 26) one is coaching highschool football and baseball and the other just finished playing college baseball and should graduate in May. Said he is getting masters - wants to coach college baseball. gosh, did these boys liste to anything I said - especially about NOT coaching!!! Lol. Guess its in their blood, sad to say. Lucy is my only daughter too - ha. Older son is engaged so I'm hoping they will give my a granddaughter as well - need a little pink and lace in my life
