Fibro and Pregnancy

Hello everybody again!

I has been reading on that topic a little bit; it was mostly just a general text. I want to know this info from you ladies here.

Were you pregnant while having fibro? How did it go? What do you use for pain control?

Im not pregnant but i really would like to have a child sometimes... My doc said you know it is going to hurt and i was like well its not going to stop me anyway. But yeah i need some first person info rather than reading about it in general. What i learned was third trimester is the worst... Im wondering how was your experience and stuff like that...

Hi KSNY-RU. Although I was only recently dx'd I know I have had fm for a very long time. Doctors and I just never connected all the dots. I was pregnant with my third child when I was having all of the usual symptoms. The only problem I had was the pain and numbness in my hands. I always have had this problem but it was pretty consistent towards the 8th and 9th month. I really didn't have any other increased pain. I was tired a lot but I also had 2 teenagers at the time who were a handful. My delivery went fine and I had a healthy 9 and a half lb. baby.

Any discomfort I had was worth it. Once I held him in my arms all was forgotten. I personally wouldn't let fm keep me from being a mom, but that was just my experience.
