Here's another funny: When my younger daughter was 10, she silently slithered on her belly all the way across the room to where her dad was playing computer games, reached her arms under the desk to his foot, painted all the toenails, put a DECAL on the big one(!) and slithered back out. Then she told him what she'd done, and he didn't believe her. He was flabbergasted!!!
This is a very smart man who has a laser-beam type of consciousness, an eye for details, but tends to be unaware of his body. This could never happen to me - I am WAY too distractible and WAY too aware of my body - I would probably jump 10 feet if someone suddenly touched my toe! Family lore!
