Thank You everyone. I got back late last night and just read your wonderful posts. I'm so

grateful to you all for your prayers and kind words. 

My Dad is now at peace in Heaven, knowing he is no longer suffering; warms my heart.

I know he is enjoying eternal happiness and is with all the family and friends who passed

before him. I will miss my Dad but truly believe we will be reunited someday.

Hope everyone has a blessed day and a big welcome to all the newbies!

Glad your back home safe and sound Robin. It's hard to let go but when someone is suffering it is a blessing knowing they will suffer no more.

Welcome back, Robin!  I totally agree with your post...you will be together again.  I can tell from your writing that God has given you His peace.  I'm glad you are back with us.

Robin, glad you're back, you have been missed.

He is at peace now, free of pain. But you're right, someday the family circle will be unbroken again. Till then all you can do is to continue to live your life as he taught you, as a good, kind, and loving person.

How is your mother doing? I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.

Alice, my Mom is taking one day at a time. I stayed with her 10 days after the funeral. As
expected it will be a big adjustment for her. She had been taking care of my Dad for a long
time because hospice was in their home. I know she is very tired and still can't believe he
is gone. My Mom is a strong woman and her faith will help her heal. I will keep your Mom
and your family in my prayers also. Thank You :)

Welcome back Robin. My condolences, of your father's recent parting. I know how it is to lose a loved one. My brother died a tragic death, from an IED (bomb) explosion in Iraq almost three years ago. You and your family is in my prayers and thoughts. Take one day at a time, its the only way besides the power of love from God.

When my dad passed all I could think of was... Now he can talk to Moses or John F. Kennedy or Abraham Lincoln.. and how much he would enjoy getting to know all the people who have gone before us... learning all about God and how the universe runs. Must be something else.
