 Just a thought what are the little things that make you smile?

For me some of the reason things are I dyed my hair anyhow my SIL came home and when I asked if he could notice any difference his reply was "Well I can't see any grey hair now". Yes it was funny I have grey hair not a lot he was very tongue in cheek.

Doing my nails the other day I was putting finger nail polish on and I was thinking about a friend who believed I had fake nails she can not grow hers long where as my DD and I need to trim ours to keep them short.

My DD's pup who thinks she is part cat this little dog loves to climb, tear up anything she can get hold off and sits at your feet to beg for food.

I have found the little things in life thaat make me happy

My grandson yelling "nanananananana" and running to me to be picked up when he hears my footsteps.

Same grandson dancing to "move it" while watching one of his fave disney movies, and making us replay it over and over.

It's spring!!

What makes me smile is my cat who thinks he is a dog! When someone is at the front door, he comes running along with the 2 dogs (who each outweight him by about 50 lbs). He sits, waiting for his share when my husband doles out the dog treats. When I feed the dogs, he sits right by their bowls, although it irritates them. He is the best!!

Achey, I have a shih tzu that is a cat that barks, maybe we should get them together. I had never seen a dog that wraps their front paws around your arm when you are holding them til Tique and when you start to put her down she holds on tighter. Through all the bad days we have had lately you can't help but smile at her and feel the love when she is doing something adorable and that is quite often.

 

My great grandson can melt my heart and put a smile on my face anytime too.

Y'all have made me laugh with the cat and dog stories! We have a crazy cat too - I actually saw him chase a huge deer through our front yard one time. I think he thinks he is a black panther!

My kids make me smile when they are not being tween monsters and walking through my yard looking at my flowers - now that I am done planting them :)!!

Yes, what would we do without our little furry friends? They are so guileless, they just are what they are with no ulterior motives!! And our children/grandchildren, of course...although relationships with them always seem to be more complicated!

My little Havanese, Sabra, is one of the joys of my life and always makes me smile and many times laugh out loud.  She is very bright and it's like having a two year old in the house.  She is curious and gets in the middle of the action. 

 

My kids make me smile because they remind me that I am so blessed.

 

Being outdoors, seeing the sun, flowers, going to the beach...so many things make me smile.  So much so that people think I'm up to something!  tongue

 

Lastly, threads like this makes me smile.  It's wonderful to think of something besides illness.

Our Chocolate Lab weighs about 65 lbs., but thinks that she's a lap dog. She will crawl on our laps, sometimes whether we want her to or not. If she is excited, she will lunge to land on our laps, so we sometimes have to anticipate and brace ourselves. On the other hand, our 20 lb. beagle thinks that she is much bigger than she is. She believes that she can "fight" anything, including the lawn tractor, farm equipment and any construction equipment that might be in the area. She will lunge, barking and growling as it nears the fence, and as it pulls away, she will "strut" as if she thinks that she has won the fight!

Gardening and planting flowers also makes me smile. I love to see the plants grow.

smilewinkgrin  I agree!  Animals, plants, something alive other than humans!!  They connect us to something important that we otherwise miss out on somehow.

Seeing someone else smile makes me smile.

A genuine smile is worn first in the heart than placed on a face to see.
