Hi Achy & thanks for the welcome!
I am rarely able to trace my flares either. It just happened that I hadn't had a flare in several months and then suddenly I had one the evening after I painted that room. Maybe I'm wrong and it had nothing to do with the paint, but even if it didn't, VOC's can't be good for us. I really expected that flare to last a few days like before, but thankfully I was back to normal the next day.
By normal, however, I don't mean that I am at the same level I was before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I still have issues if I overdo, and I still don't believe I could handle a nursing job. I just mean I feel well enough to enjoy life again, and I am very thankful for that.
I hope you'll be able to find a regime that helps you feel better. Yes... we should all pray for a cure, but I don't plan to stop looking for my own cure in the meantime.
