Thursday Koffee Klatch ~ Won't you come join us??

Do you have a running list of things you want to fix or improve around your house or apartment? What are the top-three home-improvement projects on your to-do list? Let's limit the list to things we actually have a chance of doing. It might be something like put some new shelves in a closet. Or would you like to have one room of the house painted? Maybe what would make your life easier is a new dishwasher. What's on your 'list'?

I have to shorten this list like crazy but I can do it. We've been working on a small addition but hubby seems to be stalled for quite a while and I'd really like to get this thing done. But that's not a single item so I'll go more simple.

1) I would love to have my decks repainted this summer. I can likely do most of that.
2) I need to repaint the trim on the house. It will be slow going but there is hope.
3) And I would really love a new microwave, the type that goes over the stove. I lose so much counter space to that darn one I have. I do have a birthday coming up in a couple of months. I've dropped hints before several other occasions and it's not worked yet. Maybe I need to be a bit more blunt.

What three things are on your list to get done around your home?

1. paint my bedroom

2. Finish painting and joint compounding the kitchen

3. Clean up the outside and landscape

Clean carpets, powerwash back of house, have a margurita in my hammock out back. :)

I need to clean out the gutters, clean the lanai deck and furniture, and clean the linen closet.  I need to get flat shelving cut so I can put it over the wire shelving that I hate!

I need to go through a couple of closets, clean the carpets and paint the bathroom. That margarita sounds good (especially strawberry!).

1. We need to re-landscape our yard to improve drainage, because our basement is getting too much water. This will be our next project, and we have been dreading it!

2. Re-panel our living room.

3. Replace windows in our daughter's room, upstairs hallway, and our bedroom. We already have them setting in our garage.
