I have Mitral Valve Prolapse, but don't have issues with it much. Usually only under great stress. I was diagnosed with it by a heart specialist about
26 years ago. I recently went back for another test, because I was having some issues with the episodes of extreme rapid heartbeat lasting longer than when I was young. They used to only last about
2 minutes, and the last one was about
30. Anyhow, I wore a heart monitor, and made a recording of every "missed beat" feeling, or flutter. The missed beat happens, then a hard beat. They said it was fine and everyone gets them, but not everyone feels them. I took their word for it, but it worries me sometimes. I think people like us are just so very aware of what's happening in our bodies. Don't know if it's good or bad. :) If you aren't satisfied though, I would go for another opinion.
Take Care,
