Yesterday (Sunday) was my (dog) Club's first trial. I was Trial secretary and was in charge of all the paperwork. I have never had this position before. I left my house at 5:30 am to be there at 6:30 am to find out what other work needed done.
I frigging got lost and didn't get there till 7:40 am. The competition started at 7:00 am. SO, I am driving around these state gamelands in fog that could be cut with a knife, my windshield fogging from the moisture. I kept thinking about hitting a deer which I have done in the past. Turns out I missed a turn because someone took out the road sign in the last week.
I was so tense that when I got out of the car I had to peel my fingers from the steering wheel and could hardly walk when I got out of the car. As the day went my muscles got tighter and tighter.
After the competition was over I found out how much more paperwork should have been done beforehand. aaahhhhh talk about tense!!!! Wellll today I an paying for it.
Went to work, came home and took puppy Blitz out while I watered new shrubs and while playing with him and the hose the ran into the back of my hand with his teeth OUCHH. ice, ice, take rings off before hand swells. My friend shows up and we plant more in garden. Sitting here and ankles hurt along with calves, thighs, hips, area where ovaries used to be, shoulders, lower back and most of all neck is killing me.
I guess it is true that if we really overdo we pay. But it was worth it, I had a great time yesterday and learned alot about my sport.
