Anyone else overdo over the long weekend?

Yep, I admit it. I was feeling pretty good, we had gorgeous weather and I had so much I wanted and needed to do... and I'm paying for it today. I should have known when I started having trouble sleeping, but no, I forged ahead full steam. lol.

I'm so exhausted, after a full night's sleep, that I am nodding off just sitting here at work. Not a good feeling.  Live and learn, I guess!! It was fun while it lasted!

OMG...is that what it is, the fibro???? I felt wonderful over the weekend, definately did too much....yesterday, I could not help myself, I fell asleep 3 or 4 times at work! I have other 'issues', so I didn't know which 'one' was the 'culprit'...thanks for sharing.

Im sorry you are suffering now luvskermit, but I am glad that you had a fun weekend. Sometimes it is worth the suffering later to just have some time to enjoy life. Hugs

Try to remember to pace yourself.  You can do many things but not in the same time frame as before fibro.  When I overdo, I know I'm doing that and the memories certainly outweigh the few days of discomfort!  I hope you have wonderful memories of your weekend!

I slept 14 hours, fell asleep around 6:00 last night and woke up at 10:00 this morning.
Only got up to use the bathroom. What caused me to sleep so long? This weekend I partied
like a kid and I also finished planting flowers. I had fun and my garden looks lovely, and
yes I'm paying for it with a flare... and it is worth it sometimes!!!

YES! I cleaned almost my entire house and then when I came back to work yesterday - I was exhausted and it continues today. Not to mention the pain. I have my best friend's birthday dinner to go to tonight and it's not till 7:30, not sure if I'm going to make it that late - how sad is that?

Yes, Saturday was beautiful here and I was feeling pretty decent, so I decided to go to a flea market. I walked the whole market (with the help of a cane), but by the time I was done, even my hair hurt. I still don't feel recovered today. confused

I guess I am still getting used to this and remembering not to overdo things.

I definitely have some good memories! :) My usual walk tonight was full of stiffness and aching, but I think that's worst of it. I'm off to bed...morning is going to come far too quickly! Thanks for not making me feel stupid...it's been soooo long since I felt that good that I just couldn't help myself. I hope everyone has a great night and recovers from their weekend quickly! :)
