Guess what? I found MinnyMouse on the vitamin D thread! Hee hee. You will find her post below.
Welcome Minny to the forum! We have wonderful members who love to help one another and we really do care about each other, too. I know you will like it here.
Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum. There are links to good information all about fibromyalgia and you will learn a lot there.
Speaking of vitamins.....I take malic acid/magnesium supplements, too, and these have helped me a lot with pain and fatigue. They don't help everyone but they might be worth a shot. I get these and my vitamin D at Puritan.com. I have no affiliation with this site but it's a good company and you can't beat the pricing! Anyway, there is a link about these and how they work in your body in the Fibro 101 thread so you might want to check that out. I'm not one to take a lot of vitamins either and I don't take herbs. Just me. But I heard about these and tried them and they and the vitamin D really have helped me.
I'm happy that you found us and joined in. I hope to hear more from you soon.

Wow... I find this information so helpful. I have been sick for many years, dr. to dr., treatment to treatment, surgery to surgery. Last week I found a Rumy that finally did the bloodwork and I mean tons of it. Found out my Vit. D is at 10. He put me on 2000IU Daily and 50,000 weekly. I have never been a believer in vitamines and usually stop taking them after about two days. You guy's make me WANT to continue taking them to see if this is a big part of the issue. He said it's Fibro and pretty advanced. Thank you for the discussion. I have alot to learn. He also did not rule out Lupus. Right on the edge, one of the three tests were positive. Thanks again.
