Costo. pain is pretty bad. Since I had to stop the predisone the pain has gotten much worse. Tossed and turned all night. I hate to take one of my pain pills already but I think it is a must right now. Really wish this would go away.

So sorry Sheila. I used to have costo pain something fierce. Be sure you tell your doctor about
how much you are suffering. Try and relax the best you can. Hope your pain eases soon.

I hope that you start to feel better soon. Costo pain is definately no fun whatsoever. Remember it is just a part of the fibro. It will go away, though it often doesn't feel like it at the time. Try to relax, maybe take a hot soak in a tub and see how you feel. Keep us posted.
Hugs, Karen

Doesn't ibuprofen help at all? When I take ibuprofen, I have to take 600 mg or it doesn't work for me. It's an anti-inflammatory. Prednisone works on inflammation, too. So, you might want to give the ibuprofen a try. Be sure to take it with food to help protect your stomach.

My stomach is upset and can't take anymore anti. inflam. meds. I had to stop the predisone cause of the terrible heartburn. Have a lot of nausea too. Just a bad day. Thanks for the prayers everyone.

Anti inflammatories are so hard on the stomach. I can't take ibuprofen even with food as I'll throw up from it. My anti inflammatory is Nabumatone (Relafin). It's not so hard on my stomach, and it works very well for the stiffness that I suffer. I do make sure that I eat a little something before taking it. Someone on here had suggested relafin to me, and I told my rheumy about
it...so he said, "let's give it a try." We had to up the dose to get it to work. But anyway, it's a good drug for me.
