very sore today

Neck pain and headache the last couple of days has been outrageous.  I usually can get by with mobic and tramadol, but finally had to take a percocet to take the edge off so I could function.  Today was better. I had my 5 month old grandbaby.  She is a sweetie, but was not feeling good, so I spent a lot of time holding and rocking and comforting her.  I pulled weeds for an hour while she napped and made Margarite pizzas with  premade dough.  You would have thunk I lifted weights all day or something.  It gets so frustrating when before fibro I could do all of this and then much more.  I hurt  hurt hurt everywhere.  Tomorrow I am hanging out with my aunt.  She volunteers at a ranch.  I hope I can do it.  I really want to go, but I feel just awful.  Hope tomorrow is better.

I read everyone's posts and requests for kind thoughts and prayers.  I wish I could think of something smart and comforting to say.  But I just asked God to help the fibro people who are hurting because I cannot remember who they all are (fog).

Who needs weights when you have a gorgeous baby to hold. She weighs as much as weights so technically you did some exercise. Slow down today and take it easy.Will be thinking of you.

As Lisa said, you WERE lifting weights...your beautiful grandchild.  I sure would love to be sore from that!  Can't get my kids married off!

I bet it was wonderful to spend time with the grandbaby!  I am excited to hopefully become a granny soon!  I will do anything and go through any amount of pain to spend time with them.  I'll pay later, but well worth it!  I hope you are feeling better soon!

Yes, being with the baby is wonderful.  She is miraculous.  Thanks everyone for the prayers and soft hugs.  I did go to the ranch today and visit my aunt.  Fed horses, rode a horse, led horses, and cleaned up manure.  Also visited 2 pigs, goats and a llama. It was great!

Shirley,  my friend's baby calls me Scott.  That is because he learned hubby's name, and since I come along with hubby, he thinks I am Scott, too!  He is so cute!

We learned about Margarite pizza while in Italy from a nice Italian restaurant owner.  It was created by someone who named it after his wife or girlfriend or something.  At that restaurant, they had mozzerella, tomatoes, basil and arugula.  I make it without the arugula, and I think they may be slightly different in each place.

Hi EML, I do not go to the chiropractor. I used to go, but it is very expensive and during adjustments he always dug into tender points, making me want to cry. It didn't help much either. How about you?
