  He said my eyes were fine even tho i see a halo when things are bright . My right eye burns and feels like there is mucus from time to time. I am very sensitive and suffer from anxiety as well as fibro. it's always something!!!

Do you think that the burning and mucus in your right eye could be from an allergy to something? It is worth checking out if something is irritating you. Or maybe you have a cold in your eye. I see halos around street lights. But it doesn't bother me. Do you see halos around all lights? Maybe you should talk to another eye doctor.

Are you taking any meds that dry your eyes? Did the eye doc check for cataracts?

Sorry your doctor didn't address all your questions, Tair. Some of them don't seem to have a very good way with people.

Could you try another eye doctor and ask your questions again?

Hi, every morning I use an eyewash of boric acid and water with an eyewash cup.  I get this clear mucous type stuff that bothers me all day if I don't get it out.  It is not sleep as it is too thin / watery......mkostly in my left eye.

about the halo issue, My old glasses were scratched and everything had a halo or starburst look to it.  Never plkastic type glasses again!!  I hope you get answers soon

I have some eye issues as well and have been to a couple doctors and say my eyes are fine.

My eyes are sensitive to light and I see halos as well and have some blurriness at times.

Hi all,

 Just came back from the same eye doc as I saw 3 months ago. He told me I was suffering from DRY EYE syndrome and he gave me a sample bottle of eye tear lubricant and said to use it 2x a day no matter what.Lets hope that works.
