I don't know how to word this but much of my physical pains have gone away or have lessened. I had my medicine switched from paxil to Prozac. Was all my symptoms caused by Paxil? Was it all in my head? I just don't know what to think. Sure the other night I was so nautious I had to sleep on the couch. I have a slight headache and my pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder is raring it's ugly head but much of my pain is gone! It's all so very strange. confused

Why isn't my signature changed? I did change it, really I did. I can see it how it should be when I click on my profile. Hmmmmmm.......

This is good news!  I don't think your medication would cause pain.  I know some people that have been taking Paxil for years and don't have pain.  But, you could be in a good spot for fibro.  Fibro waxes and wanes.  You will have some better periods and then some  bad periods we call flares.  I sure hope this continues for you!  I'm really happy for you.

 

As far as changing your signature, did you remember to click on "submit" when you were done?  Try again and see what happens.  Thank you for fixing your signature, too.  It is not supposed to be no more than 10 lines...including spaces between lines.

Hi Blessed, I cant really say that it is the prozac that has taken the pain away. I take prozac too but still have my good days and bad days. I will say however to enjoy it while it lasts. It is good to hear that you are feeling better. I hope it lasts for a long time.

That's wonderful! Forever may it continue to be better :)

I found that signature changes don't take effect right way - - - and they only affect new posts even after the change. Found it out the hard way yesterday.

As for feeling better - a friend of mine has severe depression and also has fibro - some of those antidepressants work on certain parts of the brain chemistry than others. He always told me which ones work on this or that. It could be that Paxil was not working on the things that you needed help with - while maybe Prozac does? Maybe, too, you just react poorly to Paxil. Whatever the case, I hope this good change will continue!

Glad your pain is better for whatever reason. :D

I have good days and bad days.
Some days I feel I can do anything and take on the world.
