Update On My Son

Thank you so much for keeping us up to date with your son's progress. This all sounds very, very good. He must have some very progressive docs - what they're doing for him sounds just excellent.

It would be hard for a man who isn't used to sitting still to take it slow. But, it also sounds like he's a very bright guy - and he'll follow doctor's orders. Maybe you can send him a book for his reading pile?

Will continue to hope and pray and send good vibes for you all. You're totally right about one day at a time!

Thanks for letting us know.   It must be scary to see him going through this and to hope he will take doctor's advice and rest like he should.  We will keep praying for him.

Shannon, this is very encouraging news!  Medical science is coming up with new things all of the time.  It's hard to keep track of it.  This is great because the vest gives the medicine a chance to work and it also gives peace of mind.  That's wonderful.  I'll be praying that all he needs is the meds.

I have a friend that has to wear a pacemaker.  She has worn it for years and has had it replaced three times so far.  It's done as an out-patient!  It just slips under the skin.  So, try not to worry.  I know it's hard when it's YOUR child!  But, the doctors are on top of this and I feel he'll be just fine.

Thanks again for all the prayers going up for my son. 

 

Debbie this is his second year as a elementary principal and school has just begun so the stress is very high in his job, but he has a wonderful faculty and they are willing to try to take some of the load off of him when he does go back in a couple of weeks.
