new to the site

Hello Friends:

I am new to the site..........still have to get my signature working. I have been battling with all sorts of issues; the most recent with a suspicion of Fibro.  I've been in the background researching things. Everyone seems so nice and helpful.  Just wanted to say "hello" and look forward to chatting with you in the future.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Stacy I am also new to the site it feels really good to know that you have good decent people to share your thoughts with about fibro.
I have IBS, severe migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome, low vitamin d levels, anxiety, depression, ringing in the ears, dizziness, impaired coordination, constant chronic pain all over my body can only work about 3-4 days per week which is getting harder and harder and my doctor told me I will get better. I was finally diagnosed with fibro after going to a Rheumatologist on my own because my doctor kept telling me i was to stressed out for the last year. Having this disease is no joke and people dont understand what it feels like to have it unless they experience it for themselves. At work people think I am crazy because I often fall asleep at work I cant help but complain about how much pain I am in all the time and all the paperwork is becoming to much to deal with half the time i cant remember how to do it because i forget things and cant concentrate on anything because of the pain. They say I look good thats on the outside. Sorry to ramble on and on i just needed to get that off my chest

Hi, Cathy, and welcome!  I'm so glad you found us and joined in.  We have a wonderful group of people that love to help one another and, as a bonus, really do care about each other, too!  I'm sure you will like it here.

 

Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the first thread on the forum.  There are links to good info about fibromyalgia and you will learn a lot.  You just might "see" yourself in some of these links.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I will investigate the Fibro 101 in more depth. Just knowing there's a "soft place to land" makes this journey worthwhile. Thanks for being so supportive. I have a feeling I am going to rely on all of you much more.
