Nana Monster, I'm sorry to ask a question in the middle of a post about something else - but I hope you might give me your perspective on this. I'm smack dab in the middle of neither really wanting to take pharmaceuticals, nor wanting to take many of the herbal products, although I don't mind some, and I do like looking at the nutritional aspects of treating diseases. How do you deal with doctors when you have to see them? Specifically, do they get all snitty when you don't want the pharmaceuticals? Is there some magic words that a person can say to a doc so they don't automatically think it is wrong to turn down their pharmaceutical offerings?
I've been a little worried that my application for disability might get turned down because I can't take many meds. Most I've tried made me react badly, and I just don't wany any more. I only take a couple minor things.
Sorry if this is off topic.
