surgery - wednesday (tomorrow!)

Hi all,

I saw my surgeon today and he scheduled my gallbladder surgery for tomorrow. I've been having many attacks, so I'm very ready to get this done.

See you all in a couple of days.

I hope your surgery goes well and you are back on your feet in no time.  I'm also glad you are truly ready to get rid of it.  I think that makes your attitude and your healing far better. 

 

I fought having my colon removed for several years.  I was in a lot of pain and, at the end, I was losing a lot of blood and needing transfusions.  I was soooo ready to get rid of it and it was one of the best things I ever did for myself.  I also recouperated rapidly.  So, I hope you have the same good experience.  Oh, I had fibro at the time, too.

Im glad you are having this done, just do like I do and tell yourself that once it is over it is painful but in the end is recovery. You will be fine because you will have all of us praying for you.

Oh.. you will feel much better.. I sure did! They wanted me home for three weeks and failed to tell me that and I went back to work after three days lol. Boy was he mad.. Take what you need. Just no heavy lefting.

It's Wednesday afternoon and am wondering how you are doing.  I'm praying that you have a very easy surgery and are back on your feet quickly with minimal pain.

Hi everyone - I just got out of the hospital today. My fever spiked and they wouldn't let me go home. I'm in pain - and pretty tired, but am doing well. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

Sorry you had the fever complication :( but glad that you're home. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here!

Hi Myjoy Im glad that you are finally out of the hospital. I have missed you. I know that the pain of surgery is awful but believe me there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Soon this will all be behind you and you will no longer suffer the agonizing pain of a bad gall bladder. I will continue praying for a fast healing.

Well happy you were able to pop in and send us a note. My brain doesn't let me remember too many things short term so knew I had something to look for just couldn't for the life of me remember what.. :) Rest and recoup!

I'm glad your surgery was a success and that you're home and recuperating myjoy. Remember to rest and take it easy...your body has undergone a trauma and needs to rest and heal.

Hope to hear good reports on your recovery process!

I know you're so glad to be home. Sorry about the fever complication.  I'm sure you'll be back to normal before you know it.  Will be praying for a speedy recovery.
