Shirley, you have been on my mind. How are your chemotherapy treatments going? Are you feeling alright? I sure hope so. You always are there to give people a positive lift and I want you to know that means a lot to the members and the forum. You are going through so much right now but God will bless you for your helping hand.

Hi Im doing ok, I dont have to have another treatment till the 9th of September. So far with this first treatment the first 5 days were pretty tough but now its not so bad. I sleep more and I get winded easier but I think it could be alot worse and I am so thankful to all of you out there who are keeping me in your prayers. I also try to each day visualize the cancer cells getting smaller and smaller along with positive thinking.
I still have all my hair, some people shave their head so that they can feel in control of the loss, but not me Im holding onto it for as long as possible. lol
I wont know for sure if the chemo is working until sometime after the next treatment then they will do another pet scan.
We are still waiting to hear whether Charles is still going to get his SSDI. We did have another meeting with the lady up at Social Security and she was going to see what she could do but so far we havent heard anything. Im praying that his check will be there tomorrow and I will let you all know.
My sisters and one nephew are coming here from Nebraska this weekend to spend some time with me. I am getting excited about
that. Not sure what we are going to do but even if it is just sitting here visiting that will be ok.
Thanks so much for asking Sherrine and Hope, I will let you know on Thursday how my appointment goes with my new internal medicine dr. goes. We will get along fine as long he doesnt try switching my meds on me. LOL
Gentle Hugs
Shirley

glad you got past those first 5 days and now things are a bit better.i'm excited for you you have family coming friends and family can make such a difference. I had some friends come to visit last month at the beginning of my flair and it was so good to just sit and talk (she has fibro as well)
