Quick Question About Eye Pain

I do not think it is just me but I have to ask. Whenever I am around like bright lights or anything that really hurts my eyes, I will get a stabbing sensation in my eyes for quite some time and I usually get a headache either during the pain or after the pain subsides. Just wondering if others experience this as well.

I do. I have to wear sunglasses outdoors even when it's cloudy and cannot drive at night because the headlights blind me.

Torden, I experiance eye pain while I'm having a migraine and am very sensitive
to light. I also will experiance eye pain during sinus headaches.
If this is a new symptom for you, make sure you mention it to the doc.

Well it is a good thing to hear I was right on my assumption

Saintsfan - I have been considering wearing sunglasses because of it as well. Any kind you would recommend?

Crazykitty - It is not really a new symptom just thought I would ask and see if my assumption was right. I am kind of glad that it was.

I am new to this page, and was glad that I found it. I have the same problem with the lights blinding me. Do you have light color eyes. I also have blurred vision at times do you have that also.

I have always needed sunglasses and my friend always blamed it on my blue / green eyes.

When my head is pounding my eyes hurt soooo bad. If I close them and put a little pressure it feels like they are in a vice grip or they are bruised. there is major pain. Sometimes I use a hot or even a cold towel on them. When this happens I am useless, flat on my back on the couch

sunnybrook1969 - I have like a greenish yellow colored eyes. But yes I do get blurred vision at times, everything gets fuzzy.

GSDgirl - I will have to try that hot/cold towel trick. But yea that is exactly what it feels like.
