As a group, I think we are some tough cookies. We all have our own challenges

but we are strong. Sure there are somedays we might be feeling overwhelmed

but we pick ourselves up and "keep on Keep'n on."

I think all of us have a goal in common...trying to make each day a good one,

doing what we can to feel better. Knowing we have eachother for genuine

caring and support is a definate plus. I think we are finding out we can have a

good life in spite of pain.  I'm proud to be a part of such a wonderful family.

Thank you all for making my life better!

I am proud to be part of this diverse family of very good folks!!!  It seems like I am back to my OLD self, busy from 10:00 am until about 10:00pm.  I am pushing through quite a lot but I am realistic and know there will be a crash skull one day.  Could be a small one or it could be a whopper.

Either way I know that I can talk about it on here and many, or should I say all of you'all can relate and that is comforting.  Thank you!!

You inspire me! I hope to be saying that very same thing very soon. It seems like I'm back to my old self! You know that is exactly where I was when I got knocked down again in June. I have been pushing hard for the past 2 years and I've been debating going back to work. You have helped in the decision, I retire in about 2 years, so if I can go back and hang in there till then and keep pushing and asking Jesus to help me each day...How can I loose? I am so thankful for this site..all of you just light me up! It is so comforting to know that we aren't alone and we aren't going nuts! This is real and it sucks! But with the Lord and my new found friends we can encourage each other and living life!

I am new here.  And I have found that this family here has been awesome.  It is nice to know that I am talking with others that are going thrugh the same thing that I am going through.  All we can do is be positive.  I got a post from someone the other day that told me that I need to not think about things that I know is going to happen, and rather not thinking about the stages of the f/m that i go through.  It was so touching to me, that it made me think, she is totally right.  I need to send her a thank you.  I have not been on all weekend.  Hope you have a great Monday...

The people here ARE awesome. I have learned so much, and there is always a shoulder (or two or three or four) to cry on or lend support. We are some tough cookies (but with sweet, soft filling inside) smilewinkgrin

This is a wonderful thread, Robin.  Yes, we all are very strong people and we can be in charge of this lousy illness!  We can look forward to each new day with anticipation and it WILL turn out far better than if we expect it to be a lousy day.  That's how I've made it this long AND I've had a full and enjoyable life to boot! 

 

I'm glad we have found one another and can offer a helping hand.
