OT Found another lump

I had a mammagram this morning and will be meeting with a surgeon on the

28th for diagnostics. I have a lump in my left breast. Just over a year ago I had a

biopsy on the same breast...it turned out to be a benign tumor a fibroadenoma,

which is rare for a woman past menopause....I guess I'm not the norm...surprise!

After the last biopsy they placed a titanium clip marker in my breast at the

biopsy site. This new lump is in another area of my breast.

My hubby had planned a getaway for us in Jamaica, leaving October 7th.

I'm thinking  positive and praying that this lump is benign. I'm ready for some

R&R in Jamaica.

Robin just want you to know that you are in my prayers. When will they be doing the biopsy on this new lump? Along with the prayers I will be thinking positive thoughts for you.

Robin, I am praying that no matter what happens, you will being going on this trip with your hubby. Even if the biopsy comes back with bad news, I think in many cases, waiting a few weeks to do anything won't hurt. I hope that's the case for you, so you can take this trip, enjoy the sun, and come back with an attitude of "bring it on".

I think it's a good thing sometimes not to be normal. :D

Keeping you in my prayers and good thoughts that yes, it will all be ok and turn out benign.

Robin, I had a friend that had a lot of fibroid lumps in her breast.  It is frightening but you are getting it checked out and taken care of.  I'll be praying that everything is fine, again.

 

Go to Jamaica!  Have you ever been there?  I've gone three times and stayed in Negril...on the eastern side of the island.  It is beautiful there.  That's where I did my parasailing.  Oh, my, how gorgeous!  So, go, go, go!  It's wonderful.

Dang it! Not what you needed. My breasts are abnormally fibrous too, "dense" for someone as old as I am, I guess. (No, I'm not going to take my own bait and make a joke out of that.) Hopefully, it'll be benign again this time.

I've been to Jamaica too, also Negril, in fact. It is absolutely stunningly beautiful. I sure hope you can still go. You're in my prayers.

Thanks for your well wishes and prayers my friends. Debbie I have dense
breasts also, they go with my foggy brain :)

I am anxious to go to Negril...this is my fourth trip there. I first went there for
my honeymoon...many, many moons ago. Nothing is going to keep me from
going. Thanks again !!!

Am praying that it's nothing to worry about and have a wonderful time in Jamaica.  Ummm...when are you leaving...not that we would break into your house and throw a party while you're gone, because we never ever do that. yeah   (better take all your valuables with you...)

Donna, you can have the biggest virtual party you want at my house. My
neighbors are very cool and would party right with you....or you can party on
the beach in Negril.

Robin, I am a 2 1/2 yr. breast cancer survivor and know the fear you are facing. Go on that trip and have FUN! Get some good mojo going. You can handle things much better with a good attitude. You are in our prayers. :)
