Moonmatrix, I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to disguss this with you. It's made me feel much better.
My husband had this similar thing done about 15 years ago but they never mentioned it being an ablation at that time. He had Wolf White Parkinson Syndrome and they had to do the same procedure with a lazer to burn the extra by-pass out. He did great, but when my son mentioned "frying his heart" I really went crazy. I think maybe it was blown out of proportion. I've been reading on the internet about it and it sounds like just what you and my hubby had.
My son started passing out last May but the hospital lost his records and we didn't know anything was wrong until the second week of school. It has all been so sudden. How old did you say you were? He is 35. Him having V Fib is why they say he has to have a defib/pacemaker even after the ablation.
