I have been diagnosed with fibromalgia since 2005 and i just found out about
this site today. I have been reading through the posts and I am so excited! The idea of having a fibro family is very comforting and to be able to talk about
how I feel without having to explain anything is such a relief. I have a very very supportive husband and he has done a lot of research and goes to my dr appointments so he understands as much as anyone possibly can without having it himself so I am very lucky that way, but to talk to others with fibro will be nice.
I do have a question. I have been experiencing pain in the back of both knees for quite some time and have not been able to get diagnosed with anything. xrays show a small amount of arthritis on my right knee. I am going for an MRI on the 12th and I am wondering what kind of answers I can expect. Will it show tissues and tendons or just bones like the xrays? I know I am probably not working this right, but hopefully someone knows what I am trying to ask. My right knee has "blown up" twice now when I was doing nothing but walking across the room. The urgent care doc said he thought I had pulled a ham string. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
