Hi, Shana. I'm sorry you feel offended. I'm not sure where I said that. I did a search and this link is the only one I found where I talked about how crowded it was with wheelchairs. What I said was...."He asked if I needed a wheelchair and I told him I didn't. I figured I could sit down if I got really bad. (I'm glad I didn't either because there were so many people that you couldn't maneuver a wheelchair!)"

Now, I may have said something about weight in a post though but not to offend anyone. You see, I weighed over 250 pounds at one time. I couldn't even sit in a booth and I did get the hurtful looks and comments. So, I would NEVER do that to someone else. BUT, I did see many people walk in the park, rent wheelchairs and take turns pushing each other around. My main point was if you were in a wheelchair, you wouldn't get around the park and I was trying to help a member so she would have the best time possible. I'm sorry that you took offense at that.
I am the only mod on this forum at the time. This is strictly a volunteer position, too. It's an extremely busy forum and I spend hours each day trying to come up with helpful ideas and also encouraging people to live their lives to the fullest. I'm definitely not perfect and never said I was. People do make mistakes. Also, I suffer from a lot of pain...just like everyone else here....along with a myriad of other illnesses so perhaps I was having an off day when I posted whatever upset you.
I do hope you will stay. If you ever want to reach me, personally, just click on the envelope under my name at the left of my post and you can email me that way.
