Thanks for all the replies...one reason for asking is that on my disability papers (have not won yet) it states one of the conditions as fibromyalgia neuropathy. I have googled it and the articles that come up are relationships between the 2 but not one disorder that is a combination of the 2. I have lowered my sugar intake and upp-ed my Lyrica and the burning has diminished some...still have it but not as bad. So I am not sure which one has done it, the lowered sugar or the higher meds LOL.
I figure the nerve damage (what I have is small fiber nerve damage...here is a link for it if anyone is interested http://www.ccjm.org/content/76/5/297.full#sec-1 ) that is what is causing the burning and the number one cause of it is Diabetes. In denial I guess
So now I am just trying to watch what I eat and keep checking my sugar and see what happens.

Pre-diabetes or borderline is just that it could very easily turn into diabetes if you don't start watching what you eat and exercise. My biggest thing is that I love starches...bread, pasta...so forth. When those things are eaten and the energy is not used, it turns to sugar. So in addition to watching your sugar intake, you have to watch what starches you eat. And exercise...even if it is just a walk every day. You can purchase a blood glucose monitor at wal-mart for next to nothing. The one I got is the ReliOn. The test strips run about
$20 for 50. Wal-mart also told me you did not need a prescript
ion for the strips. If yours requires it, ask your doctor to write you one. Then you can test at home. My fasting is always ok...my problem is that it takes a really long time for the sugar levels to get back to normal. Hope this helps you some.
