Hello Rose, I'm glad you found this site. I think I have been here about 5 or 6 months myself, and am so grateful for the support and information. I think you will like it here too.
What your going through is so common to all of us here. We all do not have the exact same symptoms, but we all have the basics for lack of a better word. lol
We all experience pain, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and most of us deal with the dear ole fibro fog, and many deal with depression as well. So I want you to know, you are not alone!
I have learned not to beat myself up if I can't get everything done that I want to.
It doesn't help, and with this illness we need to accept that our lives have to change some, maybe even quite a bit. Like me for instance, before fibro, I could work, and I could spend a whole day on cleaning my house, now, I cannot work anymore, and with cleaning, it has to be one chore, than a rest. there is no way I can get even a thrid of it done in one day. Most times I even have to rest after showering.
It's easier if you can pace yourself, and listen to your body, if it's saying to rest, than rest awhile before trying to do something else.
Hang in there, you will find what works for you, and what doesn't. It may take some trial and error to learn what works and what doesn't, then hopefully you will see that you can still have a good life. One thing which helps me the most is my faith in God. I know He will work everything out for the good, as the bible says.
We share the same name! Only Rose is my middle name.
Blessings
Debbie
