Today, after church, I sat with a fellow fibromite at coffee hour. She and I met last summer and had an instant connection. Though we haven't spoken often - we have a knowing smile for each other every sunday morning.
This morning we talked of our fibro and found out we are nearly the same in every way when it comes to our fibro symptoms. She also said to me "no one understands." And then I said - "I do." She smiled and said "I understand your troubles too." Our husbands just sat there and nodded to each other as Sally and I talked. They too had that silent bond of a loved one with fibro.
I love all you guys here who are so supportive, but it is really something to find someone out there in the real world. Please everyone - tell us a story about someone "getting it." I think it would be a great help to us all.
