Hello everyone I am new to the website. I was just wondering if anyone else has a problem with their bones cracking all the time? My ankles are the worst but my knees and elbows crack frequently as well. If I sit for any amount of time I stand up and everything seems to crack. I am 19 years old and not sure if this is apart of fibromyalgia or something else?

Hi, Ms.Wright, and welcome!  I'm so glad you found us and joined the family.  Yes, the cracking happens to quite a few here.  My fingers will "stick" and then pop, also, when opening my hand from a closed position.We used to have the Rice Krispies Club...snap, crackle, and pop!  tongue    Check out the thread called Constant Neck Cracking.  It's along the same lines as what you are experiencing.

 

Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum.  There are links to good information about fibro and you will learn a lot there.

Hi Ms.Wright, welcome to our fibro family, sorry you have to be here but you have found a great place with alot of supportive people and we all really care about each other. Yes I have the cracking sounds too. Not all the time but when I was younger it was all over the place. Now it is mostly in my neck. Not quite sure what made a difference in the age but thats fibro. You never know what your going to get. lol

Hi Ms. Wright and welcome. Yes, the cracking seems to be pretty common around here. I'm the one that started the post about constant neck cracking (which is actually more of a grinding), but I do crack in all my other joints as well.

Its good to hear im not the only one! Sometimes symptoms make me feel like im just weird or crazy ha Thanks everyone for the welcome. I am glad I found this site.

When I was younger it was just my knees.....I'm 35 now and it's knees, wrists, jaws and most recently the middle finger of each hand - all these areas the joints have become very loose and slip out of alignment numerous times per day and I shove them back or else, can't move.

I know most people on this forum would rather go with dr drugs than herbal but if you seriously
want help with the popping and cracking try Bio-Sil. It rebuilds the callogen in the joints and minimizes
the crunching. I use it with Malic Acid and Super Cissus (rebuilds muscles, tendons and ligaments).
The trio is one of the most effective at treating this disease along with my arthritis. Hope this helps

hello everyone i am new to this site, i just want to share this and ask for some advice. This fast weeks my joints (knees, elbows, shoulders, neck, back) are keep on cracking, if i sit or lay for any amount of time I stand up and everything seems to crack, I also have a back pain. I am 23 years old. I am so afraid about it. Please anyone? help me.:(

Could be arthritis, maybe someone already mentioned that. My neck has been doing it a lot, and shoulders...

I don't think the cracking (crepitus) is Fibro, I have a lot of cracking in my body knees worst and it's OA in my body. J

Hi, I am having a hard time finding the thread. I have lots of cracking in my neck. It almost sounds like crunching.

I get this as well. My husband tells me I wake him up in the middle of the night when I get up for the nightly bathroom break. I notice it very loudly when making the bed (and trust me, it's not something I put much effort into, lol). My daughter has it as well, and she is very athletic. I wonder if it could be one of the "add-on" conditions?
